Starbucks cups & Reading
People don’t read enough. And what reading we do is cursory, without absorbing the subtleties and nuances that lie deep within – Wow, you’ve stopped paying attention, haven’t you? People can’t even read a coffee cup without drifting off.
David Shore – Creator and executive producer of the television drama “House”
This is a quote printed on a Starbucks cup in the U.S.
This is how you read my blog… isn’t it? ISN’T IT!!!

After having gloria genes (jeans) the other day, I felt disgusted at the low quality of coffee beans they used. I’m not joking as well. You can call me cheap, but then that wouldn’t make sense. For me, it’s either starbucks, McCafe, Hudsons or nothing.
chris, you should put your blog into two columns when you write 1000 word entries. People can read better and quicker.

At least now you know how many read the first sentence.
May 16th, 2007 at 5:49 pm

i don’t know where to begin… except to say you are all comedians (and most of you are ADD)
cait – yes i have issues. yes i need to deal with them.
jimmy – haha no. good lead in though huh? just joking
ivy – yes. ok no… i just made this whole thing up to get cheap comments so it looks like people read this thing – you all fell for it!
my anonymous sheep – i still like GJs (i think i’m a sucker like lisa). and i don’t write 1000 words! it’s just an illusion because i pack so much good content in such a short length (haha)
rays – i wish i didn’t!
kuen – i think you need to come back to bris
i’ll show you
ber – more than 2 columns? will 3 columns help?
May 16th, 2007 at 7:26 pm
I don’t really understand this statement. People either read a lot, or read out of necessity.
I don’t get it.

Did you know that they actually included this quote in a House episode? In season 3 episode 22 when House enters his office… check it out. It´s even more hilarious when you know the background.
